Even though I love the title, let’s make sure to recognize that the proper name for the animal in this photo is a Bison:) Once almost brought to extinction, the American Bison is a true conservation success story, and one of my favorite animals of all time to photograph. Combine these mighty animals with the grand Teton mountain range and you have a landscape image that can’t be beat, and for me it allows me to perhaps catch a glimpse of a scene that once was common hundreds of years ago
